WEIGHED AND FOUND WANTING…
No one likes coming last.
That's why you need to experience it.
A couple of weeks back, in some of the classes, people partnered up to judge each other on the classic metcon benchmark, Fran.
Some were not so keen on that.
I get it, you didn't want to take up someone else's valuable training time, you didn't really want them watching you, you don't really care what your score is, oh look, there are odd numbers in class, guess I'll just go by myself........
There is so much learning in this experience of being judged. Of being held to a higher standard in your range of motion, your effort, your conduct under pressure and expectation. Your response to success or failure.
We preach it hard during any normal day, but there is nothing like being held to the flame of competition, at any level. You don't have to enter the Open to experience it, although this is the number one reason why I would recommend you do.
You can never lose here.
You either win, or you LEARN.
If you're being tested to the limits of your capability (physical or mental), and we circle up around you, it's because we know how it feels and we know you'll be better for it.
Girl Friday benchmark on March 2nd, another short, sharp number, who wants to be my partner?
