Is exercise dangerous?

"CrossFit’s founder and CEO, Greg Glassman, once said that
the greatest danger of functional movements is in not doing them.

By which he meant that the avoidance of full range of motion, multi-joint, high force producing movements leads to a weak, low capacity, vulnerable state of being.

But of course there is inherent risk involved when we endeavour to drive adaptation.

Just like earning money, if you opt for the low responsibility job, with a steady paycheck, you are may not run out of money, but you won't be retiring a millionaire either.  Any self-made wealthy person took some risk to get there, via the time taken to study, monetary investment, or the simple game of chance with business decisions.

Many of them also consulted with experts; wealth managers, investment bankers and real estate experts.

If your fitness regime consists of 'low responsibility' exercises, you'll still get the 'steady paycheck' ie, you'll have more fitness than someone who does absolutely nothing, but you'll never be 'wealthy'.

Yes, moving load, expressing speed, and learning complex movements carries some risk, but if you get yourself an expert, this risk is mitigated.

You can find a few right inside these walls just waiting to help you build wealth safely......"
